A while ago I heard that the word "success" is not being mentioned in the bible's new testament. For Jesus success in terms of power, prestige and reputation was obviously not of vital importance. How come, that in our world the exact opposite is true? It seems like everybody is looking for opportunities to become influential, powerful and ultimately successful.
